Ross University School of Medicine.
What other educational credentials do you have?

What are your particular clinical interests?
The aspect that I love the most about Family Medicine is preventive health care. Being able to educate patients on the importance of various screenings for disease prevention provides a great sense of professional satisfaction. This is one of the reasons I choose to undergo training to gain competency in colonoscopies.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I enjoy developing relationships with my patients. Being able to gain and develop trust is an important aspect of the practice of medicine. Also as mentioned previously, I am very passionate about preventive medicine, and no specialty does that better than Family Medicine!
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
Arkansas is home, and after travelling to the Caribbean and around the US during medical school it feels good to be able to return and provide healthcare to my fellow Arkansans. Also, the Little Rock Family Medicine program allows residents to learn from a broad variety of some of the top specialists in the US. Our program is also full of faculty and staff that provide a wealth of knowledge, support, and motivation to the residents.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I really enjoy music! This includes anything from listening to it in the privacy of my home/car to attending concerts and live band performances. I play piano & trumpet. I also enjoy travelling, and I am looking forward to doing a lot more of it in the near future!
