Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I enjoy being involved in all aspects of patient health, spanning from their psychological well being to their sexual health to mention but a few. Being a Family Medicine physician affords me this opportunity to care for the whole individual. I see Family Medicine as the root of patient care and other specialties as the branches. The root has to be well grounded for the other branches to flourish.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
I live in Little Rock. It has been home to me and my family since I moved here from Nigeria. I wanted to be in a program that will enable me know the common health problems prevalent in my community, to interact, and to make an impact in my immediate environment. The program in Little Rock equips me with all that is necessary to accomplish this.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I enjoy travelling. I love flying, visiting new places, and experiencing new cultures. I love reading fiction and hope someday to write a novel. I love spending time with my family, going to church, and spreading the love of Christ.
