Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, India.
What other educational credentials do you have?
MBA in Healthcare Management from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
What are your particular clinical interests?
My areas of interest include prevention and management of chronic diseases. I like to counsel patients and help them understand the benefits of life style changes which improve the quality of life. I also like to work in the emergency setting.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I really like to know my patients at personal level, and I enjoy the family rapport. I always wanted to care for people of all age groups.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
Flexibility in the resident training program, superior training practices, and passionate staff are the key reasons. I also would like to experience four seasons in a year.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I enjoy outdoor activities — trekking, swimming, and running. I believe nature brings the best out of me. I like to play poker, read spiritual books, and enjoy musical concerts. Travelling and meeting new people inspires me. I practice a little yoga and meditation.
