Intern year in OB/GYN at Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN.

What are your particular clinical interests?

My clinical interests include women’s health and skin care, diabetes and hypertension management, and smoking cessation. I am also learning more about adverse childhood experiences and how physicians can help identify and care for those affected.

Why did you choose Family Medicine?

I chose Family Medicine because of the variety of services that I can provide. I also love the idea of caring for patients long term.

Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?

I transferred from Meharry in Nashville, TN. I was impressed by the kindness of the people in Arkansas and the learning opportunities available at UAMS.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?

I enjoy relaxing at the beach and dancing. I also enjoy writing. In addition to speaking Spanish, I hope to learn another language.
