We are the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. For more than 40 years, we have served the health care needs of Arkansans and have trained generations of residents and medical students. Our department also includes the Research and Evaluation Division and the Division of Community Health and Education.

We are actively seeking candidates who are excited about teaching, passionate about clinical care, and eager to join a team of dynamic faculty members who make a difference in the community on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge, integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment to work in an intellectually stimulating environment of diverse teachers and learners.

If you want to make a difference – if you are interested in practicing in a patient-centered medical home – if you want to teach in a residency program with a perfect board pass rate for the past 7 years – if you are interested in research opportunities – check us out here in Little Rock.
